Manatees of Crystal River Sculptural Tray

Have you been to meet the "Manatees of Crystal River" in Florida? If you have, you know how friendly and cute these endangered mammals are!

This Manatee Mother and Calf were sculpted individually by hand in Stoneware Clay by Deidre Heindl of Ravenwolf Art Studio, then glazed & kiln-fired as art sculptures. Later, she found this Stainless Steel Tray made in Denmark and envisioned it as their river! She added 7 layers of colored and swirled ArtResin for the deep varying turquoise hues of the water, created the white water movement ripples as the final layer of resin, and etched the top of the tray in swirls with sandpaper to complete this spectacular tabletop art tray.

They are happily swimming the river for all to enjoy!

This piece is quite heavy from the Stainless Steel tray, heavy clay, and many layers of resin. It weighs in at 6 pounds, 10 ounces;

It measures approximately 26 inches long by 8 inches wide by around 2.5 inches high.

It is hand-signed and titled on the bottom for collectability. It is truly one-of-a-kind; I hope you love it!
